Critical Spaces: European and U.S. Institutions for Outer Space

Space is an area characterized by geopolitical positioning the past seven decades. Over that time, agencies and institutions have developed, charged with task of ensuring safe usage exploration orbits. In United States, NASA synonymous space travel, in Europe there European Agency conjunction Union state actors all funded at a lower level than fewer responsibilities. this paper, we ask why these developed such different ways to extents? Using concept historical institutionalism, examine history each discuss path-dependent nature question. Broadening discussion, note while institutional formation engenders profound impact on current activity agency, factors cannot be disregarded, power structures within global system are greater institutionalism.
